兼六園の近く、賢辻坂の交差点角にある昔ながらのノスタルジアな雰囲気が漂う洋食屋。駐車場がないため、車の方は少し離れた有料駐車場やコインパーキングに停めなければならない。

ハントンライスを注文しご主人の手さばきを見ながら待つ。ご飯を炒め、皿に盛り、急いでうす焼き玉子を作って乗せて、揚げたての白身魚のフライを切ってのっける。フライを切る際にサクッという音が聞こえ、心地がいい。

出てきたハントンライスは典型的なハントンライスのスタイルでうす焼き玉子の上に白身魚のフライが４切れのっていてその上からタルタルソースと玉子の上全体にケチャップがきれいにかけれていて色のコントラストも美しい。大きくちぎったレタスときゅうり、ちっちゃないちごが可愛く１つ同じお皿に盛られている。ご飯はうすめの味付けで少し固めに炊かれているせいかベチャっとしておらず、口の中でさらっとほぐれてあっさりとした味わいだ。玉子やケッチャップと一緒に食べるとケチャップの味と酸味が増して絶妙な濃さになる。白身魚のフライもサクサクで淡白な味ではなく、しっかりと白身魚特有の味がしておいしいかった。白身魚のフライが小さいのが４切れだけと少しバランス的にはさみしかった。大きな麩が入った味噌汁と漬物も付いてくる。みそ汁もおいしかった。
