Both are shot at Bridals by Lori, the Atlanta bridal shop owned by Lori Allen. She said the spinoff was happenstance. The producers happened to hear a commotion on the bridesmaid floor while shooting the regular version and the idea came up to do a show on that aspect of wedding planning as well.
