BSE Sensex slips 200 points; RIL, HDFC Bank, L&T down
The BSE Sensex slipped 1.2% lower on Friday led by losses in Reliance Industries ltd, HDFC Bank Ltd and L&T.
The BSE Sensex opened with a gap-down of nearly 200 points mirroring fall in Asian markets as risk of another economic downturn dented investor sentiment.
"Markets are likely to correct further, as pressure to unwind long positions will force traders to sell. Unusual addition in open interest in lower strike price puts 4,800 and 4,700 point to a continued downslide as selling will continue for a few more sessions.
