妹の学校で禁止になったもの - 発声練習

妹の学校で、学生を留年させるのが禁止になった。理由は「できない学生を教育するのが大学だろ？」「卒業時の年齢が25歳以上になると就職の際に不利になる」。そんな理由で禁止にして欲しくない。人は一人一人学びの速度が違うのだ。そんな強制は、学生自身や大学に失礼だと思う。そういう強制はやめてほしい。

妹の学校で、成績不良の学生を放っておくのが禁止になった。理由は「卒業させるのが大学の責任だ」「うちの子は自分の状況を私たち保護者には伝えてこない」と保護者に言われるから。そんな理由で禁止にして欲しくない。人は一人一人学びの速度が違うのだ。そんな偏見は、学生や保護者自身に失礼だと思う。そういう誤解はやめてほしい。

妹の学校で、出席をとることが義務になった。理由は「規定回数だけ授業に出席している学生だけに単位を与えるべきだ」「学生の出席状況を教員は把握すべきだ」と文科省に言われたから。そんな理由で義務にして欲しくない。学ぶべき内容を身につけていることの証明に単位を出すのであり、規定回数だけ授業に出席した証明に単位をだすのではない。そんな強制は、学生に失礼だと思う。そういう誤解はやめてほしい。
